In 1986 Pontiac introduced the much sleeker GT into the Fiero line and packing a V-6 it could blow the doors off of competitor’s Toyota MR2. While Fiero’s outsold MR2’s, GM unfortunately ended production of the sports car in 1988.

DeTomaso Pantera

Elvis Presley once fired his gun at his Pantera when it wouldn’t start. This is also the type of car that hockey player Tim Horton died in. Made in Italy but underneath the hood everything is Ford.

The Golden Hawk was the evolution of the early 1950s Studebaker Champion. It was the top of the line model in the Hawk series. A bad economy in 1958 led to only around 900 being sold and it was discontinued.
